The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) is the beating heart of the powered access industry. Since its formation in 1983, this not-for-profit organisation has been at the forefront of worldwide platform safety, from creating recognised training programmes to their involvement with the implementation of legislation.

Ready to back the next generation of aspiring rugby stars? Everyone here at Horizon Platforms is cheering on our local under 9s team in Warrington – and we’ve put our money on them to win. A few months ago – and with the new season about to kick off – the squad of 17 youngsters at Woolston Rovers reached out to surrounding businesses to fund their team shirts. They’d had a fantastic fundraising effort from proud parents, but were left short – a little like last year’s kit!

Along with businesses across the nation, the Horizon family donned their cosiest, wackiest, most spectacular festive knit for Christmas Jumper Day – raising worthy funds for Save the Children. The whole team was dealt a healthy dose of festive spirit, so much so that when jolly jumpers didn’t meet our strict health and safety standards our Service Team gave their work gear some Christmas cheer.
Putting people first is at the heart of Horizon’s ethos. That’s why our relationship with Leeds Enterprise Partners has been so valuable. They’ve awarded us a £45,100 LEP grant, helping us to fit out our new build and create 10 new jobs including one new apprenticeship.
