This course will properly educate the candidate on how to properly load and unload when working with powered access platforms in order to comply with health and safety regulations.

Book nowLoad and unloading when working with MEWPs isn’t always a straightforward process as there are variable factors you’ll have to contend with such as size and weight of loads. There are also certain safety regulations which you must comply with when carrying out these tasks, which will be taught during the course.
You must be at least 18 years old, have an IPAF PAL card for the relevant categories of machines and possess a DVLA C or C1 licence. The IPAF training course will educate the candidate on how to safely load and unload MEWPs onto vehicles and trailers such as slide bed transport vehicles. These loading and unloading tasks can only be carried out by competent workers who have a good understanding of the risks that are involved.
