It is with great pleasure that we announce yet another internal promotion here at Horizon. Tom Brook joined the company in August 2011 as an Apprentice – Hire Desk Coordinator (HDC). Displaying a high level of commitment and hard work, Tom has had a fantastic first year. He quickly picked up the skills required to become an effective HDC and at the same time pursuing an NVQ Level 2 qualification in Customer Services, which he will successfully complete in a few weeks time.
Tom had made us aware from the outset of his long term aspirations to develop a career in Sales and Marketing. He was therefore eager to capitalise on the opportunity to join the Sale Team when notified of the position of Telemarketing Executive becoming available in the new year. Upon successful completion of an interview last week, Tom was offered the promotion.
He will now continue to support the Hire Desk Team throughout the remainder of 2012 and will assist in training of his replacement.
Tom will be missed in the Hire Office, but all his colleagues are delighted for him and wish him the very best in his new role.
